Conol 1.1.1 — Files you attach reach the agent again

Conol

  • release-notes

This is a small release with one important fix. If you have attached a file to a chat in the last few months and the agent said it couldn't find it, this is the release for you. We're sorry it took this long to catch.

Fixes

  • Chat attachments reach the agent. When you attach a document, spreadsheet or any other file to a message, Conol is supposed to place it in the agent's workspace so it can open and work on it. Since early June, that step silently skipped almost every attached file. The agent would look for it, find an empty folder, and ask you to send it again, and sending it again didn't help. Images were not affected, because they travel a different way. Files now arrive with your message, as they should.
  • Attachment cards in the chat. The same bug made your messages show a line like [File attached: report.docx → https://…] instead of a card with the file's name. On the web and the Mac, attachments show as cards again. The iPhone app gets this in its next update.

Tip

If a chat is still waiting for you to resend a file, you don't need to attach it again. Reply to the agent, for example "try again", and it will find the files you already attached to that chat.
