Conol 0.44.0 — Smoother connections and a round of polish

A smaller release focused on reliability: connectors now tell you when they need re-authorizing, and we've smoothed a batch of rough edges across chat, notes, and sign-in.

Connectors tell you when to reconnect

Why. Connected accounts (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, and the rest) hand out access tokens that eventually expire on the provider's side. Until now that could fail quietly — a tool would just stop working, and it wasn't obvious why or what to do about it.

How to use it. Nothing to set up. When a connector's access expires, it now flips to a clear Reconnect state in your connectors list, so you can see exactly what needs attention and fix it in one click.

Fixes

• A clearer sign-in when you're offline — logging in or signing up without a connection shows a network error right away, instead of leaving you on a button that seems stuck.
• Dismissed prompts don't linger — a question the agent asked that you dismissed or cancelled no longer stays behind in the chat as if it were a message.
• Empty notes read 0 words — the word count for a blank note is now 0, not 1.
• Text alignment off in the note editor — removed an alignment control that didn't belong in the editor.
• Tidier note tree — the expand arrow now appears only for notes that actually have something inside, and a parent collapses when its last child is moved or deleted.
• Scrollable workspaces list — a long list of workspaces in Settings is capped and scrolls instead of pushing the page around.
• Safer sign-up — clearer handling of duplicate-email sign-ups, and a referral-credit gap closed.
• Desktop microphone — voice input works under the hardened runtime, and microphone errors now surface instead of failing silently.
