Conol 0.38.1 — A warmer welcome, smoother edges

A small release of quality-of-life touches: a more generous starting balance for newcomers, a quicker path to the blog from wherever you are, and a fixed right-click menu in the macOS desktop app.

New accounts start with more credits

Why. Your starting credits are how you get a real feel for Conol — handing an agent an actual task and watching it research, write, or code its way through — before you decide on a plan. The old welcome balance of 2,000 credits could run short on a first meaty job, right when you were trying to see what the agent could really do.

How to use it. Nothing to do. Every new sign-up now begins with 4,000 free credits, double the previous amount, so there's room for a proper first task. If you're already here, your balance and daily refills are unchanged — this one is about giving newcomers more runway.

The blog, a tap away

Why. The blog — release notes like this one, plus deeper write-ups — lived on the marketing site. Once you were signed in and working, there was no way to reach it from inside the app. And the signed-in home page used to bounce you straight into your workspace, so even the marketing page's own Blog link was out of reach.

How to use it. Two changes make it reachable from anywhere:

• From the app: open your account menu (your avatar, bottom of the sidebar) and click Blog, right under "What's new." It opens in a new tab, so your workspace stays exactly where you left it.
• From the home page: when you're signed in, the home page now stays open instead of redirecting — the "Log in" and "Get started" buttons become a single Open Conol, and the page's Blog and footer links are always within reach.

Fixes

• Right-click copy & paste in the macOS app — In the macOS desktop app, right-clicking did nothing, so cutting, copying, and pasting with the mouse weren't possible (keyboard shortcuts still worked). Right-click now opens a proper menu with Cut, Copy, Paste, and Select All, plus spelling suggestions in text fields and Copy Link / Copy Image where they apply.
